Innovative protective wall system for high laser outputs llaserwall® Our patented product llaserwall® is an innovation for the production of laser protection walls or com- plete laser protection cabins for higher laser outputs of up to 6 kW. The material is a composite material consisting of sev- eral steel walls and an extremely strong, cross-linked plastic hard foam. It is characterised by a low gram- mage, a high intrinsic rigidity, and the highest resist- ance to laser radiation (fulfills a protection limit irradi- ation (Schutzgrenzbestrahlung, or SGB) of 3.7 MW / m2 (d86min> 45 mm) in accordance with the current test standard DIN / EN 60 825-4). The nature of the material makes the product superi- or to all conventional, passive protective wall systems available on the market. The protective housings de- signed by us always fulfil the requirements of laser class 1, meaning they also fulfil the requirements of the TROS laser (formerly BGV-B2) or the EU directive for optical radiation protection and the machinery di- rective.
